Carol Katheryn Kuzemko

Carol Kuzemko, 85 years old of Cecil, died April 23, 2026 in her home.

She was born April 12, 1941 in Monongahela, daughter of the late Theodore and Marie Zanardelli.

Carol graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in 1962, working briefly at Mercy Hospital. She then transitioned to a career at Sears, Roebuck & Co. from where she retired.

Carol was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary Church, and enjoyed time at the McDonald-Cecil Senior Center playing 500 bid cards, and exercising.

She was an avid reader and faithfully followed the Pittsburgh sports teams. She loved lunches Monongahela High School Class of 1959 Alumni and also her retired co-workers of Sears, Roebuck & Co.

Carol is survived by her sister, Beverly Henry of Finleyville, many nieces and nephews, friends, neighbors, her dog Peaches, and also lifelong friend, Mary Jane Charitan, with whom she shared a nightly 10 PM phone call ritual for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Michael Kuzemko in 2017; two brothers, Norman and Thoedore Zanardelli.

Friends will be received 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 Friday, May 1, 2026, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church 10 ST. Mary Lane , Cecil, PA 15321.

Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
