Christine Barnhart, 78 years old of Cecil, died Friday, July 21 in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born June 8, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Clarence and Clare Lindquist.

Christine attended The University of Pittsburgh and graduated from Point Park University while working for Washington County. She retired from her position with Aging Services in 2022.

She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church and South Canonsburg Church. She was involved in several prayer groups. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Ray Barnhart of Cecil; daughter Laurie Ann (Joseph) Slovik of Cecil; granddaughter Alayna (Ben) Koslow of Brookline; grandson Tyler Slovik of Cecil; great-grandchildren Nora and Theo Koslow; a brother Craig Lindquist of Bayonne, NJ; and a sister JoAnn Lindquist of Delta, CO., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-7 PM on Friday, July 28 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 followed by funeral service at 7:00PM with Pastor Steve Parkhill officiating.

A private inurnment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

In leui of flowers, donations may be made to Venice Presbyterian Church or South Canonsburg Church.
