Donald Lee McWhorter

Donald Lee McWhorter, 55 years old of Cecil, died peacefully after a long battle with Huntington's disease, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 on his last visit to the Outer Banks.

He was born August 25, 1962 in Hopewell, VA, Son of George L. Sr. and the late Mildred G. Rethage McWhorter.

He was a avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with family.

He worked on the assembly line at RB&W in Coraopolis, was a warehouse superintendant at Geneva Medical, and a hard working Entrepreneur doing home inspections and owning M & S Lawn Care.

Surviving are his wife, Lori Prescott McWhorter, of Cecil, step-daughter, Sara (Craig) Holland of Ligonier, step-son, George Stavropoulos of Coraopolis, Grandchildren, George Stavropoulos IV, and Aaliyah Stavropoulos both of Cecil, brother, George (Kathy) McWhorter of Canonsburg, a sister, Millie McWhorter of Cecil, also a niece and God daughter, Brandi Stasik of Cecil, and God daughter, Alicia Martinez of Imperial.

Friends will be received Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) Cecil, PA. where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2018 followed by a Christian Funeral Mass in St. Barbara's Church, Prestley Road Bridgeville at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow in the St. Barbara's Cemetery.
