Frances "Fran" Martha Klinger Resetar, 83 years old of Cecil, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in St. Mary's Nursing Center, Lansdale, PA.

She was born February 22, 1934 in Canonsburg, daughter of the late Michael and Bridget Jurczyk Klinger.

She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg, and attended St. Mary Parish, Cecil.

She graduated from Cecil High School in 1952 and went on to graduate from Washington Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She completed a Bachelor's in Nursing at California University of Pennsylvania.

Through the years, she worked as a nurse at Washington Hospital, Woodville State Hospital, Collier Twp., John Kane Hospital, Scott Twp., St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon, followed by teaching practical nursing skills at Western area Career and Technical Center, Canonsburg.

She was community minded working with 4-H, Church CCD Instruction, Jr. Auxiliary of the Cecil American Legion Post 793, McDonald-Cecil Senior Citizens, Cecil Township community activities, and board member of the Canon-McMillan Schools. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, playing cards, and board games.

Surviving are two daughters, Diana Marie Ward of Lansdale, and Carol Ann (William) Wolford of Graham, NC, three granddaughters, Lesley Ann Ward of Astoria, NY, Jessica Nicole (Vincent) Jeffrey of New York, NY, and Christina Lee (Adam) Senger of Gastonia, NC, nieces, Stephanie Kish (Rosemary Willingham), Rose Marie (James) Robinson, Barbara (Charles) Barton, Kathy (Mike) Troxler, and Sharon (Chris) Lujan, nephews, Joseph Radinsky, Dennis Radinsky, Kenneth (Betsy) Radinsky, and Jason (Gina) DiNardo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 55 years Michael Resetar, and sister, Blanche Kish.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) , Cecil, PA. where prayers of transfer will be said on Monday, January 8, at 12:30 PM followed by a Christian Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Cecil with Father Stan Gregorek, officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
