Henry Anthony Grossek Jr., 68 years old of Cecil, Pennsylvania, died August 17, 2024 in Peters Township Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center after a brief illness.

He was born October 8, 1955 in Canonsburg, Son of the late Henry A. Grossek Sr. and Ethel Kraynak Grossek, who survives.

Henry graduated from Canon-McMillan High School and attended West Virginia University where he earned his Masters Degree in Education. He was a assistant principal at Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC, then most of his career he was a band director at Wirt County High School in West Virginia.

He enjoyed cross stitching, golfing, and was a roller coaster enthusiast.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Henry A. Grossek, Sr. and his sister, Carol Shaw.

Surviving are Mother Ethel Kraynak Grossek of Cecil; son Ryan (Kayla) Grossek of Boiling Springs, NC; daughter Raven Grossek of Cornelius, NC, grandson Jaxon Grossek; brother William Grossek of Cecil; and a sister Pam (Adam) Holtz of Stow, OH.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later time.
