James Everett Robson, Sr, 86 years old of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, died March 4, 2023 in Concordia of Washington, Donnell House.

He was born July 30, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Son of the late James Robson and Jeanette Fischer.

He was a meter reader for Equitable Gas, and enjoyed bartending at the Sheraton Pittsburgh, fishing and Pittsburgh sports. James served in the US Army as a Specialist 3rd Class.

Surviving are daughter Judy Shoup, of Washington; Son, James (Andrea) Robson, Jr., of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren, Shannon and Timothy Shoup both of Pittsburgh, Hannah, Ella and Carolina Robson all of Charlotte, NC, Steven Blunt of Clovis, CA, Matt McBride of Monroeville, Thomas McBride of Monroeville, Danielle Rastetter of Philadelphia, Ashley Bartko of Casselberry, FL, and Alexandra Bartko of Bridgeville, also, great-grandchildren Kevin & Violet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his Wife, Violet Robson in 2012, step-daughters, Nancy McBride and Patti Kinslow, and grandson, Nathan Bartko.

Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thurday, March 16, 2023, at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors accorded by the US Army and Canonsburg VFW Post 191 Honor Guard.
