James Dallas Simmons, Jr., 73 years old of Cecil, died August 29, 2022 in the Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing, Canonsburg.

He was born March 18, 1949 in Pittsburgh, son of the late James and Elizabeth Fink Simmons, Sr.

He was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church and a former board member for TRPIL.

James served in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are sister Cindy (Ronald) Adams of Canonsburg, nieces Heather (Mark) Schultz of Flemington, NJ, Tracy (Dan) Delisio of the North Hills, Darcy (Rick) McNellis of Montana, and great nieces and nephews, Laine, Carson, Noah, Cameron and Ryan.

Private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
