Jean Gizoni Zaccarino

Jean Gizoni Zaccarino, 93 years old of Cecil, died Friday, October 26, 2018 after a lengthy illness, hours after her husband.

She was born February 24, 1925 in Finley Twp., daughter of the late Charles and Ardella Anselmi Gizoni.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mary Parish, member of Cecil American Legion Auxiliary, former member Cecil #3 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, casino slots, cards and board games. She liked watching the Game Show network.

She worked early on for Albert's Packing making Hot Dogs, and for fifty years doing housework and Nanning.

Surviving are two sons, Terry (Claudia) Zaccarino of Fairfax, VA, Wayne (Patty) Zaccarino of Cecil, daughter, Phyllis Zaccarino (Terry Marynchak) of Cecil, four grandchildren, Kara (Todd) Bell of Cecil, Philip Zaccarino of Falls Church, VA, Russell Zaccarino of Great Falls, VA, Matthew Zaccarino of Lake Mary, FL, three great-grandchildren, TJ, Presley, and Kole Bell, and her last sister, Yolanda Spino of Washington.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Wincheck, Ann Chick, Alice Richardson, ten brothers, Ernest, John, Louis, Joseph, Victor 'Babe', Dan, Italo, Fred, and Jack Gizoni, and Victor Collavo.

Friends will be received 2-8 P.M., Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) Cecil, where prayers of transfer will be said on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:15 AM, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM in St Mary Church with Father Stan Gregorek, officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township
