JoAnn Brillhart McAfoos, 91 years old of Pittsburgh,  died Friday, May 20, 2022 in Baptist Home, Castle Shannon.

She was born December 17, 1930 in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Carrie McCall  Brillhart.

She was a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church, Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed her church, going on senior outings, exercising and her cat.

She worked as a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone retiring in 1992.

Surviving are daughters, Lorraine McCall of Arlington, VA, Daralyn (Herman) Underwood of Pittsburgh, and Ann Frederick of Mt. Lebanon, son, John Dale (Dawn) McAfoos, of VA, grandchildren, Keith (Katie) Ewing of Mt. Lebanon, Richard Underwood of Brookline,  Janette (Dave) Ralston of Lincoln Place, Pittsburgh, and John Glenn McAfoos of Alexandria, VA, great-grandchildren, Kaden Ewing, and Isabelle and Samuel Ralston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John H. McAfoos, and a son, Ronald McAfoos.

To honor her wishes there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA.

Interment was in the Venice Cemetery, McDonald, Pa. 15057.
