Jody Rae Valentine, 63 years old of Supply, NC, died January 16, 2024 in Bolivia, NC.

She was born August 20, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Daughter of the late Richard Rodgers and Patricia Wolford Gillespie.

Jody enjoyed gardening, listening to classic rock music, and swimming in her backyard pool. She loved working in the yard and watching the hummingbirds feed. She frequently took her grandchildren on outings to the movie theater, arcade or the ice cream shop. Jody loved spending time with her sisters, Cindy West of Bridgeville and Kim (Kevin) Shaw of Blairsville, Dana Malachow of Bridgeville, and brother John "Butch" Malachow, Jr. of Washington as well as her new found siblings that she never met until a year ago.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, husband Eric Valentine, Sr.; her son Eric Valentine, Jr., and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Barbara and John Malachow.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her sisters and brothers are her daughters, Marissa Powers and Vanessa Valentine both of Supply, NC; and her ten grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Chase, Chaden, Ari, Kendall, Eric, Travis, Tobias and Vivvy.

Friends will be received 2- 4 & 6-8 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 with Pastor John Patterson officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
