Laurence Leslie Cross

Laurence Leslie Cross, 81 years old of Adena, OH, formerly of Cecil, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

He was born February 8, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Son of the late Vern Leslie and Mary Gertrude Tobias Cross .

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He was a self employed brick mason with his sons, then with Local #9 brick layers union until retirement.

He enjoyed wintering in Florida, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving are son, Larry Cross of Washington, daughter, Penny (Travis) Warren and son, Leslie Cross both of Adena, OH, thirteen grandchildren, Amy (Curtice) Price, Adam Cross, and Mason Cross all of Washington, Leslie Cross, Jr., Brandon Cross, Casey (Ashley) Cross, Cory (Ashley) Cross, all of AZ, Wayne (Renee) Zambelli in the US Army, Nicole (Doug) Hurst, of NY, B.J. (Erin) Rose, of FLA, Andy (Laura) Rose of Pittsburgh, Ronnie Rose, Fla, and Richard (Katie) Warren of New Philadelphia, OH, 22 great grandchildren, six sisters, Beverly Blair of NC, Shirl Senay of Washington, Louise Turiczek of Cecil, Vida (Frank) Dellorso of Washington, Mary Lou (Jerry) Arlia of Belview, Debbie (Sam) Williams of Canonsburg and brother, Jerry (Alberta) Cross of Carnegie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Eleanor J. Cross in 2017.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) Cecil, PA. 15321 where services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Steve Dunlap officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township with full military honors accorded by the Canonsburg VFW 191 Honor Guard.
