Opalene M. Hoover

Opalene M. Hoover, 86 years old of Cecil Township died Saturday, January 27, 2018 in her home.

She was born December 11, 1931 in Toney, Alabama, Daughter of the late Dennis E. and Lona Dugger Legg.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and fishing.

Surviving are two sons, Earl Hoover and Edward Hoover, a daughter, Mildred "Millie" Harmison all of Cecil Twp., four grandchildren, Michelle McElhany of Belle Vernon, Steven McElhany of Cecil twp., Brandon Harmison of Cecil Twp., Sara Hoover of Washington, five great-grandchildren, Ciera McElhany, Aiden, Jaden, Ari, and Bella Messina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Hoover, Sr. and Sons John and Richard Hoover, a sister, Mayme Hoover, and six brothers, Howard, Robert, Marvin, Bruce, Milton, and Price Legg.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt. 50) Cecil, where services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 9:00 AM with Pastor Gary Chorpenning officiating.

Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
