Patty Lynn Hoover McDonnell, 76 years old of Venice, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 in her home.

She was born August 26, 1944 in Venice, daughter of the late Lynn Oscar and Mayme Legg Hoover.

She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church. Patty enjoyed decorating for Christmas and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

She worked as a Cashier for Shop n Save in Canonsburg.

Surviving are two sons, David McDonnell, and Donald (Dawn) McDonnell both of Venice, Granddaughter, Morgan (Corey) Salansky of Washington, five great-grandchildren, Kolby, Khloee, Korlynn, Kimber and Kerrianne Salansky of Washington, God grandchildren, James and Jordan Rivera, two sisters, Candace (Vilnis) Jaunzemis of Houston, TX, and, Esther (Joseph) Clark of Port St. Lucie, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Archie McDonnell in 2013, and a sister, Mary Natale Scott.

Friends will be received Sunday, February 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 15, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Don Coleman officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
