Rodney Jay Holmes, 70 years old of McDonald, died September 7 in his home.

He was born March 31, 1954 in Washington, son of Fred and Gerry Holmes.

He was a member of The Harley Owners Group. Jay enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife, flying helicopter and spending time with Maggie, his German Shepard.

Surviving are wife, Sandy Robison Holmes; mother, Gerry Holmes; daughter, Kristin (Ed) Davis; son Jeremy Holmes; step-son, Jason (Jennifer) Petruzzi; 9 grandchildren; sister, Debbie (John) Neigh and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Fred Holmes.

Friends will be received on Friday Sept. 27 from 6-7 PM Memorial Service at 7PM at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Rd., Cecil, PA 15321.
