Roger Allen Cox, 66 years old of Cherry Valley, Mc Donald, died Monday, September 10, 2018 in his home.

He was born October 11, 1951 in Washington, son of the late Arvid Benjamin and Emma Mae Lewis Cox.

Mr. Cox served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War.

He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville, where he was a deacon, co-chair of Helping Hands, and sat on the property team. He enjoyed dart ball, and baseball. He was a member of Pittsburgh C.A.R.S. Club and proud owner of a '69 Chevy Chevelle.

He was a machinist for Phillips, and then worked as a mechanic for 20 years at Washington Ford.

Surviving are his wife of 9 months, Lori Kilinsky Cox and two brothers, Dennis Lee Cox of Moon Twp, and Kevin James (Sue) Cox of Avella, two step children, Haley and Andrew Denes both of Imperial, Nephew James (Dana) Cox and great niece, Ella Cox, and his cat Heidi.

He was preceded in death by 1st wife Robin E. Michalka Cox, and a brother Daniel Cox.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50), Cecil, where Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor John Hamilton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, with full military honors accorded by the US Army, and Canonsburg VFW 191 Honor Guard.
